Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I sent my girlfriend a long-overdue message telling her I feel like she doesn't really care about me any more, that it seems like she only ever calls me when she needs money, and that I'm even starting to suspect she may be cheating on me. 14 hours later, she replied: "TL;DR". FML
Today, I got in a fight with my boyfriend. I sent him a long message pouring my heart out about how hurt I am that he constantly ignores me or responds to almost everything I say in monosyllables. He texted back "ok". FML
Today, I texted my girlfriend a long, heartfelt message this morning. Her response? "What do you need? Or is this even really you?" FML
Today, my long-distance boyfriend broke up with me. Tomorrow he should be getting the super long love letter that I poured my heart into and sent him a week ago. FML
Today, after a hard day's work and emotional argument with my best friend, I sent my boyfriend a text telling him how much I loved him and cherished him in the hopes he would cheer me up with a romantic reply. He said "Sorry, I've only got 8 texts left." FML
Today, I sent my boyfriend of over a year a text message telling him how much I loved him, how perfect he is for me and what I love about him. He sent me back a text saying, "I thought you had class." FML
Love language
Today, I spent two hours perfecting a really romantic text message to my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. I listed all the things I loved about him, and recalled some of our best times together. Two minutes after I sent it, he replied, "Huh?" FML
Today, I sent my boyfriend of three and a half years a text message spilling my heart out, saying I'll love him forever, and how much I appreciate him in my life, that I want to be the mother of his children, etc. His text back to me? "Are you drunk?!?" FML
Today, I sent my long-distance boyfriend a heartfelt message about how much I missed him. He sent me back a picture of a Minion. FML
Today, I received a beautiful, heart-felt text from my boyfriend detailing all the ways he loved me. He probably should have emphasized just how big his heart is though because he sent the text to three other women too. Thank you, group messaging. FML

I'm confused... people on here are way too self-opinionated (not saying, It's a bad thing, it just makes things really difficult sometimes) and stubborn. Is it "too long; didn't read"? or "talk later; driving" and I agree with some of the others, OP should've said heartfelt stuff face to face. Internet/phones is taking over everything. Don't let it take over you're life.

You really shouldn't send such long messages. It's really pointless to do that. No one will read them, because they are so long. All it does is annoy people by having a huge wall of text take up a large portion of the screen, and people will probably hate you because they have to scroll down through all that text. Seriously, why do you send your boyfriend really long and heartfelt messages anyway? The phrase "tl; dr", which, if you didn't know, means "too long; didn't read", is not uncalled for at all in this situation, especially if your boyfriend is in a really urgent situation. It can be annoying enough to raise the dead, and in some cases, cause the dead. Seriously, right now, I have no idea what to say anymore, and so I'm just putting a bunch of random text to make this comment longer, because I am an absolute hypocrite, and there's nothing you can do about it. You really shouldn't forget that elephants like pie and will eat it at every opportunity. It's like if you forgot that all trees are made of the corpses of Cthulhu's victims, combined with all souls that used to be in Hell, but Satan realized he didn't want them anymore, so he combined them with the corpses to make trees. Don't you know that the sky is blue because alligators like to piss on leprechauns, and the leprechauns get angry as a result and fart in sheer rage, and that's what gives the sun its yellow colour? Don't ever send such long messages again. Your boyfriend will thank you for it, and you might thank yourself for it too. Thank you for your consideration.

Really, the original poster needs to be considerate of the medium she is utilizing to convey her thoughts to her boyfriend. It really isn't the boyfriend who is at fault here, nor is this indicative of a poor boyfriend and thus warranting a fml. In fact, any information, emotion or thought that can only be expressed with a wall of text ought to be delivered in a more acceptable fashion. As your boyfriend, you ought to have reliable access to his person, which would ought to allow for regular conversation. This would have been the most appropriate medium for the dissemination of such information. In addition to being more readily digestible by such means, it also allows for point by point feedback as the conversation develops. This back and forth transforms a large complicated amount of information from an unwelcome dump of material to assimilate into a participatory exchange offering as much to the participant as the initiator. But by doing so via text, the original poster relegated her thoughts and feelings to a one way exchange, denying her desired exchange the appropriate means to entice the listeners interest and the tone to convey her message.
