Today, I received the first compliment from the opposite sex that I've gotten in months, from an elderly, cross-dressing man in the parking lot of Goodwill. Apparently my clothes look like they'd be "exciting to try on." FML
Today, at work, a weird old woman came up to me and told me that it's okay: being ugly isn't a choice, it's nothing to be ashamed of, and that it's what inside that counts. She then hugged me and walked away. FML
Today, I went out to eat at a restaurant. When the waitress saw me, she continously told me how beautiful and kind I was. Flattered, I just said thank you. Five minutes later, one of the ugliest girls I've ever seen in my life walked in. The waitress told her the same exact things she told me. FML
Today, a friend of mine commented that I "have a lot of confidence for a fat girl". Ummm... thanks? FML
Today, at the Y, someone told me I had a cute ass. I liked that until I realized: a) a woman said it; b) I'm a woman; c) I'm straight; d) it's my first compliment in 2 years even though I'm 25; and e) I'm so in need of positive attention I ran after this woman to ask for a date. Me desperate much? FML
Today, I got my first compliment in over a year. It was from my gynecologist, saying I have a beautiful cervix. FML
Today, the ugliest girl in school walked by me and said "ewwww". FML
Today, I walked into work and overheard three of my female coworkers talking and laughing about how ugly my face is, and how they’re sorry for whoever has to marry me. They went on to name the coworkers they actually would sleep with. I’m 25 and I've still never had a girlfriend. Thanks for the self-esteem boost. FML
Today, I was complimented by a stranger, who said I looked great in my outfit. I thanked her, and she immediately gave me a fist-bump. I stared curiously, and she explained: she was arguing with her friends about whether I'm a man or a woman. The pitch of my voice was the answer. FML
Today, I finally worked up the courage to tell my mom that I'm gay. She sympathetically patted my back and told me I don't need to make up excuses for me being so unattractive to women. FML

Beauty is fleeting. I used to have the biggest crush on a guy named Jeff in HS. I was nerdy and he was popular, so naturally he didn't know I existed. I saw him when I was out with a friend and Jeff stopped us to talk to my friend Mike (they were good friends in school). I didn't initially recognize him cause this once "cute" guy gained about 100lbs, teeth starting to yellow from chain smoking, and grew his hair really long. Of course now that he was all nasty, he started talking about how pretty I was and shit.

OP, I do not think there is an ugly person. I can always find at least one trait that is attractive on a guy. Whether it is their long eyelashes, pretty eyes, nice smile, they have a nice body, sexy voice. Everybody has at least one "attractive" trait.

You never know, she might have legitimately said it to be nice and could have not known it was hurtful. I have aspergers and I never know when I'm being mean.
