Today, I realized my acne is so bad that the Facebook face recognition could recognize all of my friends in a group photo except me. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I noticed that my acne has gotten so bad, I can see it out of my peripheral vision. FML
Today, Facebook notified me a "friend" had tagged me in one of his photos. It was a group photo of 20, but my face was the only one that was intentionally blocked out with an emoji because I "didn't belong in the group." FML
Who are you?
Today, it seems that I've gained so much weight that not even my iPhone can recognize my face. FML
Today, I realized that I can't shave my unibrow because I have too much acne on my forehead. FML
Today, my friends told me, "Don't worry about your bad acne. It kind of looks like the pattern the avatars have on their heads." FML
Today, my mom tagged me in a picture on Facebook. It's a very zoomed in picture of a zit that had just recently erupted on my face. The caption is "My baby's biggest zit yet!" FML
Today, my social anxiety got so bad that I'm now afraid to add people on Facebook. FML
Today, I used a red-eye removal tool on one of my photos. I quickly realised how bad my acne is when the software couldn't distinguish between my eyes and cheeks. FML
Without me
Today, I saw my mom's Facebook profile picture for the first time. It had all of my family members in it. I was cropped out. FML
Today, I'm now able to put my acne cream on my face without having to look in the mirror, because I've memorized the crater and trench-filled war zone that is my acne-riddled face. FML

Just because it didn't recognize you, doesn't mean it's because of your acne. It could be the angle you were in, a face you were making, etc.

Exactly, Facebook once thought crease in my friend's bended knee was a face so if I were OP I wouldn't be that worried about it, at least in this situation.

Maybe the picture caught the image of a ghost child in front of your friend's knee and Facebook was saying ooh spooky. ;)

At least it didn't recognize you as Pizza the Hutt

That facefinder! It always finds faces in the trees in my photos, or in my dog's fur.. It thought my belly was a face once too, but didn't find my real face :C

I used to have bad acne like that, so bad that my face would always be swollen. I went to a dermatologist and I had tried just about everything and nothing seemed to help. Eventually, my dermatologist prescribed Acutane and it worked wonders! I know there is a lawsuit against it and servere side-effects but all you really need it one term of it and your acne should be completely cleared. The worst that happens is that you may feel very irritable and your skin will be extra dry. Other than that, there should not be any more negative effects due to the short amount of time you would be taking it.

Obviously the worst you can get would be the depression or a gastro problem like they show on the law suit commercials. I wound up with both side effects and my life is hell. I wish they banned it. Oh and I only took the short period of it. Doubt it matters how long you take it, the risk is there

Sucks Facebook had trouble spotting you. Google BBC series called I want to change my body season 1 episode 1. Girl with bad acne hot light therapy cleared skin up really good.

You should be more Proactiv.

If it's that bad, did Facebook really have to spell it out for you?

I've never used the face recognition. I'd rather tag who I want.

Go see a doctor about it or try to be better about cleaning your face
