Today, I pulled several socks from under my son's bed. I spent far too long trying to figure out why they were so stiff before I finally realized. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Teenage Kicks
Today, I was gathering laundry around the house. I forgot my son was almost 13, and grabbed the very stiff socks from under his bed with my bare hands. FML
Mommie issues
Today, I found all my missing underwear that I have been looking for for months, and have been replacing. They were all hidden in a pile in my 14 year-old son's bedroom, covered in crusty stuff. When confronted, his response as to why was, "Hormones…?" FML
The void
Today, I found the missing sock from my laundry inside the sleeve of a hoodie I’d already worn twice. I now know where my laundry goes to hide from me. FML
What secret item did you expect?
Today, my mom texted me, “Sweetie, I found something weird in your laundry basket.” My mind raced through every possible embarrassing scenario. I called her in panic, and she said, “Why are there 18 single socks?” I’ve never been so relieved to be messy. FML
Mystery solved
Today, I took my laundry out of the washing machine and noticed one of my socks was missing. I checked the drum, the floor, and the laundry basket. I eventually found it inside the sleeve of the hoodie I'd been wearing while loading the machine. FML
Will people notice?
Today, I put on a sock. Then another sock. When I got into public, I realized my two socks were slightly different shades of blue. FML
The plot thickens
Today, I did laundry and found one lone sock in the washer. Thinking I was done, I left it there and put the rest in the dryer. When I pulled out the clothes, the sock was missing. It was in the dryer all along, but I couldn’t find its partner anywhere. A sock black hole struck again. FML
Smooth criminal
Today, I found out that my cat has been secretly stealing my socks and hiding them under the couch, when I found a pile of 15 socks after I finally moved my furniture to vacuum the floor underneath. FML
Today, while looking for some socks in my mom's dresser, I found a male g-string and an edible bra. FML
Today, I went into my parents room to empty their wastebasket. Next to it and around their bed, I found tissues that were soaked in an unknown sticky substance. I had to pick them up. FML

I see the joke went so far over #36's head, it may pass the New Horizons probe by the end of the month

#36 I'm guessing you're really fun at parties. I'm pretty sure he knew what was meant

I knew what was going on before I got to the end of your first sentence ;)

We need a follow up with the boys age because the younger he is the more awkward the inevitable conversation will be.

#36/#42. - pretending not to understand is a fun way to troll people that love to take every possible opportunity to prove to the anonymous internet how genius they are. Thanks for taking the bait; allways a good laugh.

A lot of moms clean their kids' rooms.

If your son is old enough to jack off, he's old enough to put his socks in the laundry. YDI

You're stupid. Really? Some guys never mature until well after puberty and are clueless as to how to do laundry especially. She doesn't deserve it at all.

#60 my three year old knows how to use our washing machine. Being immature and having a penis does not equal inability to use a washing machine.

Three years old, great for him. Not most teenage boys don't want their moms finding that shit, so they hide these kinds of things. Doesn't mean they still want to use the washing machine for this kind of thing.

@69 In my opinion, the operative word there at the end is "want." This kid is obviously old enough to be required to do his own cleaning up. There's a point with kids when they have to learn about personal accountability and hygiene and puberty is a great, and important, time for that.

Usually guys just roll over and go to sleep and not give it a second thought. Until the mood hits again.

Maturity has nothing to do with mental capacity to run a washing machine and dryer.

Oh my, I'm sorry. May you are just new to the interwebz. Or special, and that would make me a terrible person for making fun of you. Must be some reason everything here is over your head. I sincerely apologize
