Today, I participated in a charity auction at my university where the boys are "sold" to the highest bidder to be a slave for a day. My girlfriend and ex were bidding against each other. My ex won. FML

Today, I gave my ex-girlfriend two concert tickets to show her I still care about her and want to win her back. She sold them. FML
Today, my soon-to-be-ex husband raised the bar. He sold our former marital home and put the money into a college fund for MY nieces. Now he looks great to my family, he already has a new place to live (thanks to his rich parents), and I’m stuck living with a college friend. FML
Today, I won the lottery. My ex-girlfriend has the ticket. I just broke up with her. FML
Today, my girlfriend got paid by the richest guy in our school to go to the Winter Formal with him. She took up the offer. FML
Today, I bought my girlfriend two tickets to a Broadway show that was coming through town she really wanted to see. I couldn't attend with her due to work so she said she would take her mom. I found out later she took her ex. Now they're back together, and I paid for the date that made it happen. FML
Today, my boyfriend won a diamond engagement ring through a citywide competition. Instead of proposing to me, he's selling it. FML
Today, my ex won a writing competition. His story was inspired by our relationship. In it, I'm a serial killing prostitute. FML
Today, I went to a party and saw my current boyfriend making out with my ex-boyfriend. FML
Today, I finally made the last payment on the beautiful engagement ring I bought and proposed with - two years ago. To my ex-girlfriend, who said no and promptly started sleeping with one of my friends. FML

HI-YOOOO! We've had similar fundraising auctions, too, but for specific goods and services. Some examples are various instrument lessons, massages, food, cleaning your room or doing your laundry, etc. Quite successful, actually.

At my highschool for our Christmas charity we auction seniors off for dates, it usually gets atleast 80 dollars a kid, homecoming queen and king for atleast 200, as creepy as it is, the money it raises is well worth it.

What is up with these giant ads. Please don't do flash ads that play music.
