Today, I laid in bed until 3am kept up by a house party. In my own house. Which my housemates didn't invite me to. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I sat in my room on the computer instead of attending the party of the year. I got kicked out because I wasn't invited. The party was in my back yard, hosted by my brother. FML
Unloveable
Today, it was my second day of house-sitting. I was so out of my mind from not seeing people that I invited a bunch of friends over for dinner. I said I would pay for pizza and we could all hang out in the house. Even with an unsupervised house and free food, no one showed. FML
Today, my roommates had a party while I stayed in my room, and that was fine by me. What was not fine was when a stranger broke into my room, asked to lay next to me, and then just went ahead and did it. FML
I'll get my coat
Today, I was sleeping when my roommate walked in and asked me, "So… when are you leaving?" She had decided to throw a party in our apartment. I wasn't invited. FML
Harshing our buzz, man
Today, I was asked to leave a party because apparently I was a buzzkill. It was my party, for my birthday, at my house. All my friends and relatives basically sent me to my room for being too tired to party, so they could get pissed in my front room and pillage my fridge. FML
Today, I was uninvited from my own birthday party. FML
Today, I wanted to go clubbing with my friends. I started drinking at home to save on the price of drinks, instead I fell asleep on my couch. FML
Today, all my friends had a huge party and 'forgot' to invite me. They only remembered about me at 2 am when they called asking for rides home because they were all too drunk to drive. FML
Partaaaaay!
Today, I woke up after passing out at a very small house party. I'd set a three drink limit, but apparently nobody listened, because there were beer cans everywhere, half my stuff was on the floor, and someone had shat in my bathtub. I had to clean all of it up alone. FML
Today, I drunkenly staggered home and crashed on the couch. When I woke up I realized it wasn't my house. FML

It's your house. You don't need an invitation.

If they didn't explicitly ask you not to come, they probably just assumed you would. Who waits for an invite to a party in their own house? Seriously.

Exactly #1, I wouldn't think to invite my roommates I would just assume they knew they were invited.

Sounds like OP is socially inept and is probably more comfortable feeling sorry for them self. This is definitely a YDI!

Next time have a party at chucky cheeses and don't invite them

I got the impression OP meant they weren't even informed of it.

Your housemates will probably ask you tomorrow why you didn't come to the party.

Hmm, well I'm sure OP would've realised a party was taking place by the time the people flooded in and the music started to play. I agree with #1 , and it's definitely a YDI!

You can't really crash your own party.

Step out of your room and grab a red solo cup. You don't need an invite at your house.

Why didnt you just walk out to the party?

Maybe they assumed that you coming was a given and an invitation wasn't necessary, since you live there and all.

I would have busted out the whiskey and partied with them considering you live there too

Sadly I've been in the same situation OP.

I don't see why you couldn't have joined the party. My roommates have held parties at our house plenty of times without telling me beforehand, and I have always been welcomed to them.
