Today, I was uninvited from my own birthday party. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I got officially uninvited to a party. This is the third one this month. FML
Today, all of my friends bailed from the birthday party I was throwing myself. This was also after they had encouraged me for months to have one, knowing I'd never had my birthday celebrated before. FML
Some BFF…
Today, I found out that my best friend was having a birthday party and I wasn't invited. I had just finished planning a surprise party for her. FML
Today, I was invited to a birthday dinner at a restaurant. As I was leaving, I get a text from the birthday girl's boyfriend saying that it was cancelled. Hungry, I decided to go to that particular restaurant anyway. Turns out the party wasn't cancelled. Half the party just didn't want me there. FML
Today, I sat in my room on the computer instead of attending the party of the year. I got kicked out because I wasn't invited. The party was in my back yard, hosted by my brother. FML
Today, I was uninvited to a bachelorette party. I wouldn't really care, if the party hadn't been for me, ahead of my wedding tomorrow. FML
Social distancing
Today, I stood by the wall at a party while everyone else danced and ignored me. It was my birthday party. FML
Today, my friends decided to throw a going away party because I'm moving. It would have been great if I had actually been invited. FML
Today, I spent a lot of money buying a birthday gift for a close friend, only to find out I'm not even invited to the party. FML
Classic blunder
Today, I found out my best friend was having a birthday party and I wasn't invited, so I asked her why. She replied, "What birthday party?" It was a surprise birthday party. FML

Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
Maybe there's a good reason as to why?

I doubt it.

Why the hell would there be a good reason to be uninvited to the OP's own birthday party?

Did you even read the FML all the way through or were you too busy rushing to get to the first-comment spot?

#1: Your profile says that you think you're friendly, but it's hard to conceive of any friendly reason to uninvite someone from their own birthday.

I once held a party for a friend's birthday. He got stupid drunk, wanted to fight my other guests and broke shit! He got kicked out and I continued to party. Why should I have cut my fun short because he got out of line? Some think since it's their birthday, they have a free pass to be a dick. He sobered up the next day and apologized. Still friends!

Maybe you meant that OP was such a dick that the person who organised it uninvited him? Could be why, but I doubt it.

OP's friends are like "oh we changed our minds, it's a surprise party now!"

Then it isn't a birthday party
wyverntail 15
It's just a party that happens to be on the same day as OPs birthday
snowflaky 22
How does this even happen? Wouldn't it make more sense to just cancel the party? If the party was still thrown without you, it probably wasn't actually a party for you in the first place and you were just told it was. Sorry OP.

Crash the party by throwing cake at everyone and screaming happy bday

I feel I need to know why before passing judgement...
