Today, I found out that the gnat infestation in my dorm room was not caused by the recent cool weather, but rather the rotten pear I found under my roommates bed. FML

At least they're not wasps or Mosquitos, then you'd have bumps or stings all over you. :P

Although gnats can bite too. And that shit sucks.

I know it's off topic, but is 38's photo real? This disturbs me..

That's sucks you should ask to switch roomates

they are probably fruit flies op

Was gonna say, yeah those are fruit flies. Glad I'm not alone. Gnats are a different bug... And nasty little things too. Fruit flies are annoying but harmless.

Something similar happened to me (except with all the bugs) so I went crazy looking for the source. It turned out to be a "relaxing" candle.

That's gnatsty.

I'm disappointed in your spelling and in your trolling of me in two consecutive vignettes. If you're so in love with me, do me a favour and send me a PM professing your undying love and spare the rest of the FML community your pathetic clinging.

This was definitely the best pun posted.

Oh yeah everybody let's lynch op's roommate because they dropped a pear it rolled under the bed and maybe they had other food stuff they were bringing in and did not notice. Nasty yes, worthy of everyone threatening violence? No.

Yes, it was.

Everything is worthy of violence if you rationalize well enough. ;)

I hated the dorms for that reason alone my roommate was such a slob and I was clean and he stunk up the whole damn place with his dirty laundry

Luckily you'll be moving out soon enough!

I think the important question is what were you doing under your roommates bed?

Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like bananas . . . and pears, evidently.
