Today, I found out that my extremely-flat chested cousin recently got a boob job. When my mom found out, she said "Oh that's great! They look so good!". Then she looks at me and tells me that I should get one. Everyone including my own mother thinks I should get a boob job. FML

Today, my cousins and I were walking past bars, choosing one go to. I recently got my hair cut short and thought it was cute. A little boy walking beside us looked at me and said, "Are you a boy?" His mother shushed him and said, "No dear, she's just flat-chested." FML
Today, I was feeling really down and insecure after a friend joked about how small my boobs are. When my grandma got me to tell her what happened, she reassured me that all the girls in our family were late bloomers. I said "Really?" and she replied, "Oh no dear. Quite the opposite." FML
Today, after explaining to my two year old that we were going bra shopping, he decided to announce to the entire bank that we were going to buy Mommy some boobies. FML
Today, my 4 year-old daughter was looking at a magazine cover with a well endowed model showing off her cleavage. She looked at me and said, "Mommy, when I grow up, will I have big round boobies like her or tiny pointy ones like you?" FML
Today, when I was a teen, I felt inferior for being flat-chested. So I got a boob job. As an adult, I started yoga and meditation. Then I felt foolish for not embracing my natural self and having plastic stuff in me. Got the implants out. Now I'm happy with my looks but have nerve damage from the procedures. FML
Today, my perfectly sane and healthy 90 year old grandmother had a heart to heart with me. She told me she'd pay for a boob job. When I asked why, she said, "Sweetie, you'll never attract someone with those tiny suckers." FML
Today, my mom said I should start wearing push up bras to make myself look better. I was wearing one when she said that. FML
Today, my mom and I were looking at dresses for me at the mall. The cashier pointed out a dress, and my mom said, "She's definitely not going to fit into that. She's too flat-chested." FML

In this masculine dominated evil society, men are pigs. They make women feel like trash and as this OP points out it shows that even women are brainwashed to believe in bigger breasts equal a better life. I'm sick of how 1 trillion women are beaten each day by their husbands and victimized. Stop the male pigs from dominating this earth. Power to women! /s Sorry had to get a jandersonii or whatever rant in today. Haven't seen her in a while and I feel bad :D

this is a stupid post, who care if you have a flat chest. your mom shouldn't be encouraging you to worry about your physical characteristics, but rather your personality characteristics. women with confidence are hot

Small (not tiny), real boobs can be nice. Big, real boobs on young women are fantastic, but when they get saggy -- yuck. Big, fake boobs are just toys. If you need help to get fake small boobs, that is far better than being really flat-chested. Guys that like flat-chested women are really into boys, but they realize that society and the law frown upon acting on that so they choose a socially-acceptable facsimile: flat-chested women. Your mom is telling it the way it is.

If this FML was from Asia, I might say it's just a cultural thing. In another FML didn't someone mention how it's fairly common to get plastic surgery there? It could also explain how open the family is to talking about it. I still agree with my previous comment though, it's your body, do as you please, but don't let others decide for you what to do. You probably aren't /that/ small, if your cousin is smaller. You're letting someone else's image of what a woman is supposed to look like get to you. I'm sure if you have kids, it might change that too.

Don't get it if you are comfortable with your own body image! I have an all natural 32dd chest and it's f***ing annoying as hell! The point is, you may never be completely happy with them, but if someone loves you for you than that doesn't matter. Besides why risk the scars and possibility of leakage? Eww...

Fake boobs are gross. It's sad that so many people are getting them now. They don't even LOOK real. Plus, it says a lot about the person getting them and what their priorities are. Major turn-off. I agree with everyone supporting you not to fake boobs look gross most the time, I've only seen a small few that looked ok. But #25 made me LOL so bad! xD
