Hang on, who says she hasn't tried to move on? Feelings aren't switches, you can't just turn them off and on when you please. Just as you need time to build a foundation for a stable relationship, you need time in order to break up the foundation that relationship stands on. Rushing it just leads to one more person popping anti-depressants like they're skittles.

Why does it really matter to you? He's your EX boyfriend. You need to let go, and get over it. People change. Obviously in those five months something changed in him that caused him to propose.

Sometimes it just take the right person to make someone settle down. Maybe its true love with his new girl, and the reason he didn't want to be serious with you, was because he didn't feel that spark with you, and didn't see a future. Be happy for him that he's found someone, and your turn will come.
