Today, I figured out how serious my weight problem really is when my boyfriend had to lift a fat roll before he could enter me. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Hot bod limit
Today, my boyfriend of four years told me that I appeared to have gained some weight. After realizing that it made me feel depressed, he tried to make me feel better by making love to me. I decided to go with it. While doing so, he paused and said, "I'm sorry baby, but your weight is too much pressure for my back." FML
Roll with it
Today, my boyfriend encouragingly told me that he could tell I was losing weight, all because I had one roll fewer than usual on my stomach. FML
Today, I was feeling down because I always think that I'm overweight. My boyfriend tried to prove me wrong by lifting me up. I threw his back out. FML
Practical
Today, my boyfriend used my love handles as ACTUAL love handles. FML
Today, my boyfriend grabbed my love handles. It tickled, so I giggled and squirmed out of his grip. He looked at me quizzically and said, "I'm surprised you still have feeling there with all that fat." FML
Today, I was at the gym with my boyfriend. He is a bit feminine, but it has never really bothered me. Until I realised I was lifting heavier weights than he was. FML
I'm getting there!
Today, one of my worst nightmares as an overweight woman came true. My boyfriend showed me a video someone had recorded of us exercising together, and who was mocking my weight the entire time. FML
Today, I noticed I have to lift up my fat to see my penis. FML
Body positivity
Today, after 3 months of my boyfriend complaining his weight is making him not want sex, I suggested we go for a walk to help us both start to lose weight. He looked at me and said, "You're too fat to go walking." I'm beginning to think my weight is the problem here, not his. FML
Thanks, honey.
Today, I noticed that I've been gaining some weight. Don't worry, my boyfriend doesn't mind. His new favorite thing is putting my boobs on his head and saying he feels "safe". FML

It seems like he doesn't mind as long as he's still getting laid :)

I would never of allowed myself to get in that situation, but since you are already, consider that some great motivation to work out...so you can be the one who is pleasing him, not the other way around! Losing weight will give you an entirely new set worth, in your own eyes...since that is the most important!

Oh I'm sure she's still pleasing him

You know, the pleasing in a relationship go's both ways.

How do you have a boyfriend?
Needafarm 22
She may have starting dating him before her weight got out of her control, or he really does love her for her personality. Then again there was that Jack Sprat guy and his wife who could eat no lean.

You can be over weight/obese and still have a boyfriend, husband. Who's to say her bf isn't just as over weight or maybe a bit less? It doesn't matter your weight! If someone loves you and want to be with you then they can be. You don't have to be healthy/skinny to be in a relationship. Should you be healthy for yourself? Yes, absolutely.

Easy, her man isn't a shallow asshole.

What a putz you are. So rude and shallow. And probably not quite as cute as you THINK you are.

IMO, and maybe this is because I've been spoiled by a fast metabolism, it's really not that hard to avoid being overweight. Just exercise. Honestly...

30- If it was only that easy for people like me, my metabolism and molasses have a lot in common. :p I work out 5 days a week, I watch everything I eat, every snack is mentally weighed and considered, I never exceed 1750 calories on my days off, and not more than 2200 the days I push it at the gym. It's not a lot of fun, but if I don't, I'll be 250+ lbs again, in no time. :( So from my point of view, it's real easy to fatten up: Just don't keep track of my diet, and relax more. Obesity, here I am, did you miss me? :( In OP's case, this seems a bit more extreme. I'd think she'd benefit from a fitness plan arranged with a coach and a diet consultant. Something anyways....

It is in FACT, hard to exercise for some people! 1. They could have depression a real illness that causes you to not want to do ANYTHING. 2. They could have NO motivation and NO one to help them or cheer them on, care about them. 3. They could have knee problems, or physical problems that prevents them.

I eat whatever i want and Only work out 2-3 times a week for about an hour. When I do work out though I push myself Hard.

The concept of losing weight isn't difficult: eat less, move more. Actually losing it though? I've lost close to 100lbs over the past 3 years; a little over half of that has come off in the past 7 months. It's hard, in every way. It's hard going from eating whatever you want, whenever you want, to having to track every little thing you eat and making sure you don't go over your limit. It's hard going out with your friends and watching them dive into the appetizer sampler while you nurse a glass of water because you've already eaten all your calories for the day. It's hard to find a decent hour to go to the gym when it's not too crowded so you can actually get your workout done and not worry about whether people are watching you or not, especially when you're still obviously fat. It's hard to go to family gatherings and dinners and having the entire meal fall under your "I can't eat that" list. It's hard to diet and exercise til you're blue in the face and not lose ANY weight for weeks at a time because your body decided that was a good time to hit the pause button. It's also hard to diet and exercise til your blue in the face, look in the mirror, and not be able to see any of the progress you've made. And the thing about it is, I started gaining weight when I was five (I'm now 22) and weighed over 200lbs by the time I was 13, and hit an all time high of 278 by the time I was a sophomore in college. Yes, a lot of that was my own fault because I didn't watch what I ate or exercise, but most of it was simply a slow metabolism + my parents not doing anything about my weight problem before it became a huge problem. I suffered from low self-esteem all through high school and college due to my weight, which led to failed relationships because I didn't think enough of myself to allow anyone to love me in a proper fashion. I didn't love myself, so why should anyone else? People who've never had a weight problem will never understand. It's never as simple as just diet and exercise. It's also a mental thing you have to overcome; you have to get your mind in a healthy state so you actually can go forth and do better for yourself. And honestly? Sometimes I still struggle with it; you try spending 17 of your 22 years of life living in obesity and see how easy it is for you to overcome it.

133, your comment is too long and I can't thumb it up so I am writing a comment to you instead. I applaud you for everything you've been through and for sharing that. Too many people are ignorant and think it's easy because they've never had to deal with it. I myself was lucky to not have to go through that...but I know I'm lucky. My sister, on the other hand, was not so lucky. She was very much like you, gaining weight at an early age and battling it into her twenties. But because of people making comments like so many I see here, she eventually took her own life. But you better believe she tried every damn day to lose weight before giving up because she thought she was a failure because everyone else told her how easy it should be. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being so honest.

Sometimes, it all depends. Some people do have slow metabolisms, but at the same time, there is no excuse for some to be walking blimps, fast or slow metabolism. I understand not everybody can be skinny, but when you cram food down your gullet like it's going out of style while sitting on the couch watching another Lifetime man-hating movie, sorry, I'm not gonna feel sorry when you complain why you're so fat.

I'm very sorry for your loss, 150.

177 you sound like you're discriminating. You assume it's for the reasons you list and you also assume the majority of them are women and not only women but man hating woman. That's a horrible stereotype. It annoys me that weight is the one thing people allow other people to discriminate against. Can't talk about color of skin, religion or sex but you can assume things about a person because of their weight. My husband weighs 170 and at my heaviest weight I was 330. He eats more than me and worse than me and didn't work out and yet very skinny. I have lost 150 pounds btw. I work out all the time and watch what I eat to maintain my weight but my husband eats whatever he wants when ever he wants and never watches what he eats.

Just because he had sex with her doesn't have to mean he finds her attractive, just that he was horny.
