Today, I broke my collarbone in a rugby tournament. I was forced to sit through five more hours of games because the coach wouldn't take me to the hospital until the tournament was over. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was playing rugby. I was tackled very hard at the end of a play, and I got up to find my head bleeding profusely. Not one person offered to drive me to the ER. I had to drive myself to get six stitches in the face. FML
Today, after twisting my knee playing soccer with my friends, I had to take myself to the hospital. Apparently finishing the game was more important to them. FML
Today, I accidentally tackled my own teammate during a rugby match, so our coach made me walk the 5 miles back home instead of driving me home with the rest of the team. FML
Today, I discovered that the pain I've had for the past couple of weeks was actually due to a broken collar bone. Now work won't pay for the treatment I need because I continued to work despite the pain. FML
Today, I was in agonizing pain and couldn't move. My parents said they couldn't take me to the ER until the football game on TV was over. FML
Today, I went to the emergency room for a broken collarbone. This wouldn’t be so bad if my parents hadn’t paid $20,000 for me to go to a snowboarding academy all winter. Today was day one. FML
Today, I'm in hospital because of my brother. He followed me and my boyfriend around a fair yesterday dressed as a gorilla, and whenever we showed some sort of affection towards one another, he rugby tackled me. The final tackle caused me to break my wrist. FML
Today, I dislocated my collarbone while trying remove my bra without taking off my shirt. FML
Today, I had my first hockey game after being out with a shoulder injury. I ended up cracking my tail bone. FML
Today, after taking care not to hurt myself during my workout, I injured my shoulder extricating myself from my sports bra. FML

Five hours? When I was 8 I broke my collar bone really badly and I didn't get taken to the hospital until two days later.

If it's a school team, you most likely signed something saying you can't sue them. As for the collar bone, ice is really the only thing you can do, it will heal on it's own

Which, implies that when you're injured to a certain degree you will treated appropriately. Because nothing happened in this situation there is not only no real case to sue or chance of winning but had something threatening happened due to the untreated condition that the coach was aware about it would have been perfectly fine to sue, even with those previsions.

So you could have called someone (a parent) to rush you to the hospital emergency room, where you would be dealt with promptly, after waiting in the waiting room for 5hrs. wait, what????

I broke my collar bone snowboarding and ended up having to snowboard down the other half of the mountain since I couldn't find ski patrol. FYL; I sympathize.
