Today, I broke my collarbone in a rugby tournament. I was forced to sit through five more hours of games because the coach wouldn't take me to the hospital until the tournament was over. FML
Today, I twisted my ankle during a round of golf, after trying to do a fancy jumping high five. FML
Today, I sprained my ankle while playing soccer. I still have to walk home. In the rain. FML
Today, I fractured my tibia, fibula, and tore a tendon in my ankle. How? You might ask. By stepping in a hole at soccer practice. Now I’ll be out for the entire season with months of rehab. FML
Today, I was in agonizing pain and couldn't move. My parents said they couldn't take me to the ER until the football game on TV was over. FML
Today, I was playing rugby. I was tackled very hard at the end of a play, and I got up to find my head bleeding profusely. Not one person offered to drive me to the ER. I had to drive myself to get six stitches in the face. FML
Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML
Today, while practicing my gymnastics routine on the uneven bars, I was so distracted by my teammates' conversation about a party later that I miscalculated my flip and smacked my head on a bar. Ten stitches and a concussion later, I was left alone in the hospital. FML
Today, I sucked so bad that I faked an injury during a football game to get out of playing. FML
Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML

it's not a big deal the term soccer was interchangeable with football in the old days(1880s-mid 1900s). it was called soccer football here and associated football in england to differentiate from am. football and the english rugby.

when you're knee is screwed up, continuing to play doesn't make you tough, it makes you stupid. you can't play to the best of your ability which pretty much ***** your team over. and chances are, you'll just screw it up more. that's what happened to me when I ran track.
