Today, after nearly a year of being stalked, harassed and even terrorized, the police finally found out who my stalker was. It was my 19-year-old son, who thought it would be a fun prank to pull. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my stalker is my mom's new boyfriend. FML
Today, my nineteen-year-old son attempted to mug me. With a screwdriver. FML
Today, I got a stern talking-to from the police about threatening and harassing people. Who had called them? None other than my stalker, whom I'd just informed about the restraining order I was filing against him after finding him in my house. For the second time. FML
I don't want to 'catch up'
Today, my stalker from 16 years ago has apparently come back. Hello, police protection. FML
Straight to jail
Today, I found out the person who's been stalking and harassing me online was actually my now ex-boyfriend. He only confessed as I finally picked up the phone to report it to the police. He basically said he wanted me to turn to him for comfort and protection, so he could "feel like a man". FML
Today, I found out the identity of the pervert who's been staring at me through my bedroom window in the late hours of the night. My parents and I decided to set out a trap for 'him' instead of reporting to our local cop. Turns out, we caught my 37 year-old neighbor in the act. He's the cop. FML
Who? What?
Today, the police arrived at my door, telling me my child had been caught vandalizing. A boy who looked about 15 hugged me and said, "Hey, mum." I'm only 26 years-old and had never seen this boy in my life. FML
Go away, creep
Today, I learned that my stalker is still trying to weasel their way into my life even after they doxxed me, cyberstalked me, harassed me, threatened me, and attempted blackmail on me. All this just because I told them that their boyfriend groomed me when I was a minor. FML
Today, early in the morning, I got a knock on the door from the police. It seems my son and his friend had been caught throwing toilet paper at a neighbour's house. He's 23. FML
Today, my stalker - an annoying guy who's dedicated the past three years of his life to stalking me at every turn - somehow got a hold of my number and started texting me at 10pm about how I have no life. FML

He deserves to go to jail. That is some sick psychopathic shit.

I also want to know the details on how he was stalking her as it seems it was pretty serious. Letters? Pictures? The level of creepiness determines the level of punishment.

Op should be able to punch him in the mouth, three times.

OP, have you ever herd of the gallows. This would be a suitable punishment.
ohcheriecherie 20
yeah, 41, I'm sure OP wants to execute her son.

He needs to sit in the corner and think about what he's done
QueenofWheels 13
He is 19 so unless the DA decides it was more than a childish joke nothing can be done. Not like you can ground a 19 year old.

66, why not? He's still your children. Also, stalking is punishable by law and the son is a legal adult.

#66 she could alway kick the child out of the house

Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
You should tell him it's only a funny prank if he does it to complete strangers.
abhi95 31
Uh.. If he did it to complete strangers then it'd be a prank no more.
titandesu 14
It would be just plain old stalking

I wonder how long this actually went on
lailagothgal 16
Uh........ I think somebody should tell him.
JJ_86 22
Uh oh.. I think not. There needs to be some minimum level of observation skill. Or else just let him stay ignorant in the bubble.

Your son has WAY too much time on his hands
MissSarcasm01 18

This boy has serious problems, and should be living a really long ways away.

i can imagine your son with an awkward smile on his face saying "gotcha"
xx000o 27
I can imagine you with a happy and relieved smile on your face as the police haul him away fin cuffs. Then when he says "mom you gotta bail me out"
Axel5238 29
I agree he's 19 and old enough to know better. When it get's to the point of potential of serious injury (greasing the stairs ect...) or legitimately fearing for your safety it is no longer a "prank". When will kids learn most of the stuff on the net you as a "prank" isn't really and would probably get you arrested like drinking water out of a vodka bottle in public.

This FML definitely needs a follow up!

Please tell us how you will deal with him in future.

Your son has issues if he stalked you for this long. Doesn't matter if it's a prank or not, it's rather disturbing.
