heartbroken United States

Today, after a huge heartbreak and a night of crying, I wake up to an empty house. I go in the kitchen to make breakfast and see a note on the counter saying "We heard you crying last night and didn't want to hear you complaining this morning, so we went to the mall. - Mom" FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

The next time you hear them having sex, write a note that says "Heard you and dad having sex. You sounded like a donkey taking a soccer ball up the ass. Didn't want to be here for the awkward moment. -(OP's name)"

At least your family know how to form the past tense. Also, you should totally, like, burn the house down, or something. Yeah, that'll show 'em!

ydi because I'm sure you would be complaining.

Must be that's something you've done more than once or twice. YDI for being whiney.

well look on the bright side. noq u can go in ur moms room and trash it. maybe sell all her jewlery while ur at it

sounds like you bitch too much

What kinda mom is she anyway?

My sister does this - gets in a horrifically bad mood and treats everyone like crap, and refuses to accept comfort or understanding from anyone but her boyfriend. In that situation, my dad and I just kind of clear out, because it's just a waste of everyone's time having to deal with someone who won't grow up. I don't know if OP is like this or not, but it wouldn't surprise me...

I hate to admit parents just don't get it anymore. My mom told memto suck it up and find a rebound...haha thanks ma love you too. Sorry for your crappy day!

Either you're a drama queen and cry often over things you find "heartbreaking" or your relatives are insensitive assholes. :(

Haha, I agree with Doc. I actually pictured that when I first read this FML. On another note, perhaps OP was a guy and his family didn't want to hear that. I couldn't imagine that being done to a girl...
