Today, I logged into Facebook for the first time in a month. I had only 3 new notifications, that were to tell me that the poker application I used on there "missed me" and wanted to give me 10,000 free chips. My poker app talks to me more than my friends. FML

Today, after nearly three years of no contact whatsoever, I received a Facebook notification from my father. Eager to see what he said, I pulled it up only to see a game request. He had run out of lives on Candy Crush. FML
Today, I got on Facebook and realized the only two friend requests I've had in 2 months are both from my parents. FML
Today, I came home from work and turned on the computer. I logged onto Facebook and saw I had a bunch of notifications. Turns out, everyone on Facebook knew I was single before I did. FML
Today, I came back from a week-long vacation where I had no internet whatsoever. I turned on my phone to get notifications, hoping to see a message or two that I'd missed while gone. There was 1 notification, telling me how many FMLs were posted while I was away. FML
Today, Facebook stopped working and I realized how emotionally dependent I am on social media. FML
Today, I reactivated my Facebook account, having not used it for three months. My "friends" didn't realize this. According to their recent status updates, I'm disgustingly fat, have a hook nose, and I'm secretly hated. FML
Today, I got my first Facebook friend request in 4 months. I also got a message in my inbox. The message said: "Sorry, I thought you were someone else. Just ignore my friend request." FML
Today, I logged on to Facebook and had 64 notifications. I thought that perhaps I was popular. But no, it was my ten year old sister, liking 64 of my pictures. FML
Today, Facebook told me I should reconnect with my husband. FML

Well, if everyone on facebook was like you and only logged in once a month, nobody would have any comments to look forward too would they? You have to actually use the site to get comments. You don't get something for nothing.

DUH! how do you expect a lot of notifications when you don't really sign in that often? Your friends probably think you dont use it anymore thats why they dont post on your wall, etc. I say YDI.

31, not everyone is in middle school and lives for social networking sites, many adults are getting facebooks these days, such as my 50 year old parents, 80 year old grandmother and 3 aunts between those 2 ages. these people rarely use these things.. OP, if you expect anything, you gotta give a little...initiate a conversation with someone or somethin
