Today, after three weeks in the hospital for a lung infection, I was released. On the way home, another car ran a red light and T-boned my car. Back to the hospital I go. FML

Today, I got hit by a car while walking into the hospital to visit my wife, who had also gotten hit by a car. FML
Today, I was carjacked. As he shoved me away from my car, I got hit by another car. He and the other car both drove off. FML
Today, I had a car accident. In the same place, at the same time, and with the same friend in the passenger seat as last week. FML
Today, I was walking on the sidewalk near my house when a car pulled out of a parking spot in front of a speeding ambulance. The ambulance swerved up onto the grass. Yes, I broke my arm after being hit by an ambulance. FML
Today, I was in a car crash. While I was being immobilised by the paramedics to be taken to the nearest hospital, the passenger of the other car, who didn't have a single scratch, touched my shoulder and said, "It doesn't matter, nobody got hurt." FML
Today, after breaking up with my girlfriend, we were stuck behind a 7-car accident for 2 hours in the car. FML
Today, I got hit by a car. My friends left me to get to the hospital myself. The cab was double fare. FML
Today, I totaled my car whilst rushing to pick up my son from daycare. This happened as I was leaving the hospital, after dropping off a wheelchair to my recently disabled wife, who is taking care of our newborn in the special care unit. FML

I'd say they'd call another ambulance, I don't think ambulances really have capacity for more than one patient. I'm wondering what they'd do if the person in the original ambulance is in an acute condition - let that person die while they're doing first aid on the new patient, or leave and hope a random bystander helps and the ambulance comes quickly?

Call another ambulance and continue on with current patient. Once care is initiated on a patient, it is against the law to stop giving care, even for another more injured person.
