Today, while going to work, I was mugged. On the way back, I was mugged. FML
Today, a car backed into mine. I thought that was pretty bad, until another car backed into me right after I'd finished taking the first guy's info. FML
Today, after volunteering all day at the homeless shelter, I was mugged on my way to my car. FML
Today, my car got stolen. While I was standing ten feet away from it. FML
Today, I watched as a guy hit my car, laugh when he saw me running towards him, and drive away. FML
Today, I finally got enough money to buy the car I wanted for a year now. It was stolen today too. I had my car for 4 hours. FML
Today, I was walking to my car from my workplace. When I was about 20 feet from my car, a guy who was clearly on drugs yelled at me and stole my keys and car. Right before leaving the parking lot, he hit a stop sign and then yelled that my car was broken and ran off. FML
Today, during my work shift, my car got stolen and I had to walk home on the rain. While I was walking home, my stolen car drove by. FML
Today, I was in a car accident. After screaming at the woman for running into me, I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving away, I was staring her down when I ended up rear-ending the person in front of me. FML

If I had a gun and someone carjacked me, **** yea I would shoot them. (Not saying I would wanna kill them tho) They have it coming and I don't see how a thief deserves empathy... do stupid things, deal with the consequences tbh.

They didn't say the weapon they carried was a gun. Plus, just having a gun or other weapon would deter most people, without having to actually pull the trigger.

Statistically speaking you're more likely to get the gun taken off you and shot with it then you managing to get a shot off at the carjacker. You're safer not having one, funnily enough. Sucks, but a car isn't worth your life. Unfortunately this guy got the double whammy; theft and injury,
