Today, I turned off my boyfriend's Xbox while he was playing because I wanted to talk to him about getting more serious with our relationship. As I did so, he said, "That's not the only thing you just turned off" and promptly broke up with me. FML

Today, my boyfriend dumped me, all because he's scared of my mother. FML
Today, while on a date with my boyfriend, he broke up with me. The reason why? Because I took a dump in his bathroom and "that's inappropriate for girls." FML
Today, my boyfriend dumped me by getting his mum to message me on Facebook. I got the message while I was packing for an overseas trip to visit him. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. Feeling bad, I texted him a few hours later apologizing. He said it was fine and that he went ahead and picked up a girl from the mall. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 2 years told me he had feelings for someone else. He also told me he wanted to continue dating me until things progressed further with the other woman. FML
Today, I broke up with my girlfriend for another girl. This other girl helped me break up with her so we could date. After it was all done, she promptly rejected me and in front of everyone, saying how much of a douche I was for leaving my girlfriend for another girl. FML
Today, I was dumped. I ran home and cried and ranted on and on to my mother. After about 10 minutes of talking, she threw a book at my face and said, "No wonder he dumped you! You can't shut up!" FML
Today, I was at my boyfriend's house waiting to surprise him when he got home from work. I was laying in his bed when he called to tell me we were over. I couldn't leave before he got home. FML
Today, I poured my heart out to my girlfriend of two years expressing my feelings for her. She responded with, "I'm going to bed." FML
Today, while my husband and I were arguing, he walked away in the middle of my sentence yelling, "Remember babe, you're only my current wife!" FML

Depending on what he was playing you did something between the level of rude of him turning off a movie you were watching up to him taking a phone out of your hand while you were talking to friends and hanging up on them because you were ignoring him. Now think about how you would feel if he treated you that way.

If you're not getting the respect you want (or anything you want) from a partner, and you need that respect (or whatever it is), you don't shit all over what they're doing and demand they give it to you. You can't demand anything from anyone. It's not just immature, it's ineffective. Unless you're that person's mother and they're still a kid, if they refuse to work things out with you of their own accord, then you leave and find someone or something else to get your needs met.

It was extremely rude of you to do that, if he wasn't saving regularly, you could have cost him hours of work. You could have either waited until he was able to save, or able to pause (assuming he wasn't playing online).

Only online games can't be paused as far as I know, and the story doesn't state whether he was playing online or not. So if he was offline, he could've paused the game.
