First time?
Today, I have an eight hour transatlantic flight and the person sitting next to me has already filled his third sick bag. This wouldn't be quite so bad were we not still at the terminal with passengers still boarding the plane. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I got my own row on an almost full transatlantic flight. All it took was having food poisoning two hours into the flight. FML
Today, I fell violently ill half an hour into a flight. I got sick so suddenly that I projectile vomited all over my clothes and the seat in front of me, and to top it all off, I also got diarrhea. Eight more hours to go. FML
Today, I'm on a 14-hour flight, stuck next to a large man whose rancid body odor is eclipsed only by his constant flatulence, which he loudly blames on me every time. On my other side is his friend who laughs like a moose at everything. There are no empty seats and no-one will trade with me. FML
Today, I'm on a 16 hour flight. Five minutes in, the lady on one side has clipped her toenails onto me and the guy on the other side has the most horrific gas I have ever smelled. To help this problem he bought a cheese plate from the stewardess. 15 hours and 55 minutes to go. FML
Today, I discovered the worst possible situation in which to get explosive diarrhea: on a 9-hour transatlantic flight. Next to an attractive single guy. FML
Today, on the airplane, the kid behind me kicked my seat hundreds of times, while the big bald guy next to me farted deadly ones repeatedly. I was on a non-stop 14-hour flight. FML
Today, on my airplane ride home, the woman next to me wasn't feeling too well. She pulled out the air sickness bag to throw up into and missed. Her vomit splattered all over the seat in front of her and all over me. We were both covered in puke. And that was only my first of two flights. FML
Today, after years of wonderful flying experiences, I boarded a flight and took my seat only to find a baby sitting in front of me, behind me, and to the right of me, and across the aisle from me. All of whom decided to cry in unison. It was a 9-hour flight. FML
Today, I was on a 12-hour transatlantic flight. I asked the flight attendant where the rancid smell was coming from. The guy sitting next to me started laughing, saying, "Sorry, something I ate is not agreeing with me." This was hour one of the flight. FML
Today, I was the only passenger on a completely booked flight to have all their luggage left behind in another country. FML

That guy shouldn't be travelling... unless he's got a flight phobia, he sounds like he has a serious stomach bug.

Ask for a different seat...and pretend to cry. That really sucks, i might not have gotten on the plane.

That's horrible. Would have caused me to be sick. However, I think this guy was inconsiderate to not buy both of the seats if he knew he would be that sick while flying. Expecting a stranger to sit next to you while you throw up is stupid.

Well, don't be too harsh on the other guy. Do you think he enjoys that? I feel the other guy's pain because I get extremely nervous in planes. It happens. Your life doesn't suck because of it, it's just a minor inconvenience. Then again, this website is not "MLHAFMI (My life has a few minor inconveniences)"

um, I'd think having to sit next to someone vomiting for eight hours makes your life suck- at least for those eight hours. The guy should be a little more considerate and hurl in the bathroom.
