Today, I found out that my wife is seeing a marriage counselor. With her ex. FML
Today, I found out that my ex-husband just had a baby with his new partner. We only split up a week ago. FML
Today, I had a long talk with my now ex-boyfriend. I explained why I'm not comfortable with him bringing up his new female coworker multiple times a day, talking with her about their kinks and fetishes, or possibly being around her outside of work. We've been together for nine years. He's only known her for a week. FML
Today, I was sick and tired of my husband talking to his female friend from high school all the time. They reconnected after 7 years and have been talking non-stop day and night, to the point of neglecting the marriage. I told him it was either me or her. He took off his ring and kicked me out of our house. FML
Today, I went on a coffee date with the man I've been in love with for a while. Before I knew what was going on, he'd started chatting up a pretty girl sitting nearby. I had to drink my coffee alone while he got her number. FML
Today, I found out that my wife had been debating leaving me for an old boyfriend from high school. They rekindled their relationship on Facebook, and talking on the cell phone. Both things I insisted she have. FML
Today, I found out my husband has been sleeping with one of the women in our marriage counselling group. FML
Today, I went on a coffee date with a guy I'm interested in. He picked up his phone mid-date to finalize dinner plans with another girl. FML
Today, my husband decided to start seeing other people. I found out when I called and interrupted his date. FML

They stopped having coffee and started...what? Eating pastries? Did they start going to another kind of restaurant? This FML lacks necessary information.

Your life does suck because you didn't deserve to be cheated on, but you do deserve the fact that it's been going on this long. The fact that he was just "hanging out" with an old girlfriend alone is improper to begin with if he's married, and how could you not catch on sooner than that? Like one of the first people said, there's a difference between being trusting and just being naive.

wow, you're pretty naive... Exes are Exes for a reason... you don't need to be in contact with them anymore, unless you have kids. My sister in law is just as blind.. her bf goes to his ex-fiance's house almost once a month for the whole weekend- the reason? "he's dogsitting'... yeah, uh huh.. but she buys it too.

I am personally not cool with a bf that wants to hang out with an ex....no way...and a weekly coffee hang out with an ex is just red flag city. That was just being stupid and blind.

I'm sorry but this is a YDI , weekly coffee chats with an ex? yeah right. I mean there's keeping in touch with an ex, not uncommon and usually not a problem, but keeping that close to an ex..........how naive can you be?
