Affectionate, huh?

Today, my little sister chased me around the house with a mallet, giggling like a maniac. I ended up having to pin her to the ground, rip the mallet out of her hand and lock her in the bathroom. This isn't the first time. My mom still insists it's perfectly normal. FML

Halloween

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.

If it's so normal, start doing that to you your mom. She'll see how 'normal' it is.

Make an amateur horror movie out of it and become rich.

Sounds like demon spawn.

If she can turn her head 360 degrees then it's time to call in a priest...

It's time to call one in anyway lol

Chuckies bride!

How old is your sister, OP? Does she ever try this on anyone else (including your mother), or only on you? If this happens while you're watching the kid, can you tell your mother you refuse to do so any more if your mother won't give her any consequences for her misbehavior?

What exactly are her intentions when she catches you? That's what I want to know

I am also curious, but I have a feeling that OP wouldn't have written this had that happened.

She sounds like a brat; someone needs some discipline!

Take the mallet away from her and give her a little bop on the head so she knows how it feels.

All while sing: Little bunny Foo Foo Hopping through the forest Scooping up the field mice And bopping 'em on the head

How about you confiscate the mallet?

You have my sympathy, my sister used to chase me with a knife. Siblings can be awful and your sister is crossing the line between normal sibling rivalry and potential domestic assualt. Your mom needs to discipline her. The mallet should go mysteriously "missing"...

That depends on how old she is, if she is like 5 or 6 and is doing it because she saw Tom chase Jerry with a mallet on Cartoon Network it is NOWHERE near domestic assault. If she is 15 or 16 and doing it out of anger and with intent to cause injury, then it is domestic assault

I thought of the possibility of locking up the mallet, but if she's psychotic enough, she'll upgrade her potential murder weapon. The options are limited on this one, bub...
