Today, my step-brother went grocery shopping alone for the first time. He came home with Ramen and 14 bottles of chocolate milk, which will expire by the 20th. My step-dad is insisting we eat it so it doesn't go to waste. FML

Chocolate milk in coffee makes a nice mocha.

You can freeze chocolate milk. It stays good for a really long time if you do! .

No one gave him a list? Was he told to get anything specific or just to wing it? Because although the that was a stupid choice for him, if he had no instructions than its everyone else's fault too.

Good luck! That is not the greatest combo in the world!

Hey, I'm so broke that I would be happy to have ramen and chocolate milk. At least you're eating OP!

14 bottles? Really? Why? Who thought this was a good idea?

The step brother who bought those 14 bottles sure did.

It sounds like your father sent the 12-year-old grocery shopping I guess if you rely on children to do shopping you get what you get. I'm surprised he didn't come back with the bag of candy

I was able to go to the store at around the age of 12 without coming home with junk food. I might have misinterpreted the list a few times or accidentally left something out, but I was never irresponsible.
