Today, my girlfriend and I decided to exchange presents for our birthdays. I spent $100 on perfume and Victoria's Secret clothes. She bought me a bag of lifesavers, then asked me to leave because she wanted to take a nap. FML

Today, because it was our first Christmas as a couple, I was careful to get my girlfriend what I considered to be a very thoughtful gift. Today, I thought it would be nice to take my girlfriend out to a nice restaurant for my birthday. She got a little headache after we ordered, so she went outside to get some air. I ate a $100 meal and had Happy Birthday sang to me by the restaurant staff. Alone. FML

ok, #14-- not giving a guy pootie-tang just for being a big spender and sending him home in exchange for a nap are two totally different things. There is absolutely no excuse for being that unappreciative. Although, OP, buying her perfume and underwear is a stupid gamble unless you know she's that kind of person. Question: how much time passed between the gift exchange and the eviction? Maybe she just didn't want you pressuring her into sex if you were over super-late, and is just crappy at making up decent excuses (or being honest and blunt). :P

Maybe you should talk to her about this. Something might be bothering her. Maybe she's low on money? Maybe she is hurt by something you did and hasn't said anything? Maybe the relationship has run it's course?
