Today, my boyfriend told me he couldn't spend the day with me as he had his grandmother's funeral. Lonely, I went shopping and I bumped into his mum having lunch with his 'dead' grandma. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend out for a romantic dinner, since we can't see each other this Valentine's Day. Halfway through, my aunt called, telling me my grandma had died. I had to leave because I was crying so much, leaving my girlfriend with a very pricey bill. FML

Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

Today, I called my boyfriend to have a shoulder to cry on because my grandpa died. As soon as I told him, he started crying and telling me how much he missed his grandmother, who died six years ago. I spent the majority of the phone call listening to him wail. FML

That's pretty damn low to use a relative's death like that as an excuse just to not have to be with you for a day. And was he foolish enough to think you'd never find out later? I'm not a complete fan of "dump him" but I don't really like your boyfriend OP

I'm not saying he was right for using his grandma as an excuse but did you offer to go with him as support to the "funeral"? Should have been able to tell by the tone of voice if it was real or not.

Why didn't she just ask his mum if he had been in the funeral? I'm sure she would have known if he were going to his other grandma's funeral.

I think his luck was bad cuz u knew that he was a liar, so it is gonna be hard for him to deal with it. I think he is gonna come here and continue the story lool !!
