Everyone who's saying "just quit"... I don't know how it is in Singapore, but in the U.S., if you get fired as opposed to quitting I think you get some sort of unemployment benefit. So maybe O.P. was trying to get that (if it works that way in Singapore, too).

Nope in the US, at least here in Washington and Oregon, if you're fired you get no benifits, you need to be laid-off.

Why would that be your first thought as a way to get fired? Why not just quit? I don't think if you get fired for harassment that you can collect unemployment so I don't see the point...YDI

Jeeze just effing quit. Grow the **** up and burn your own bridge. I hate HATE hate it when employees try to put the onus on the mananger when in fact, they were the ones in the wrong. And even if you're not in the wrong and just hate your job, QUIT. It saves everyone hassle, for ***** sake.
