Today, I tried to get my boyfriend's attention by taking my bra off and tossing it at him. He only put it on as a hat and kept playing his video games. FML

That's pretty funny actually. I get that you wanted to get hours attention, possibly for some sexy fun time, but keep in mind that just because you may want some, doesn't mean that he does in that time and moment. Sometimes people just need their space and chill out, and in a healthy relationship both partners recognize and respect that. ☺ Not that I'm saying you don't, OP. FYI, though. Try again in an hour? If all fails, play video games with him! That's pretty fun too. :P

I see these posts all the time. As a 25 year old female gamer with a fiance that also games, I understand the importance of saving first. I also know that if a bf tried this when say his gfs favorite movie was on, the bf would get a similar response. I have a lot of chick friends ask me for advice, they usually they get mad at the bf for ignoring them to play a game, yet the girl will spend hours ignoring the bf for social media. Now I can't speak for the couple in this post, but both my fiance and myself appreciate gaming and consider it a serious hobby. Maybe it's a security issue where women (in this case) are feeling insecure in their relationship. If so, STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO A VIDEO GAME! To me, a video game is like a interactive movie. You get invested in the characters and plot by spending time and leveling your character. Thankfully, most of my chick friends chill out after I point out that they often ignore their bf to go shopping or check their phones (for hours).
