Today, I met up with an old friend of mine who acts in a TV show. I hadn't seen him in a long time, but I'd been watching episodes of the show almost daily, so when he showed up I could only see him as his TV character and not as my friend. I ended up calling him by his character's name. FML

He should be flattered you watch his show.

I'm sure that must happen to him all the time, and he can laugh it off. It's a compliment to him that his work has influenced your perception that much that you call him by his character's name even knowing him outside of the business.

As an actor I'm sure he gets that a lot... Granted, you're his friend and actually know him, but when you see a person called by something other than their own name so many times, it's not too hard to understand.

Calling him the TV name must mean that he plays a really great/convincing character! I'd probably take it as a compliment.

I would take that as a compliment if I were ur friend and not as an fml...

I think my question is the same as most other people's question...who is your friend and what show are they in?
