Today, I'm 4ft9 "tall" and I always have trouble reaching things that are high up. It's my birthday, and I got three footstools as gifts. FML

If it's any consolation I'm 6ft 3 and have to crouch in the shower if I want to wash my hair. Short isn't so bad.

LOL. As someone who is in her 20s and only 4'9" as well, this made me laugh a bit. I feel your pain OP. Though I would be happy if someone got me step stools. At least then I could reach stuff!

Idk. I think that's pretty considerate. Now you don't have to climb onto the counter tops to reach something and risk hurting yourself. And if you're female you'll be able to see into the bathroom mirror more easily to do makeup.
