Today, my brother and I found a little bird that couldn't fly. While trying to convince my mom that it couldn't fly so we could keep it, I lightly tossed it in the air and it landed a few feet in front of me. Then my cat grabbed it and ate it. FML

Today, I found my cat downstairs with a squirrel dangling from his mouth. When I saw this, I yelled at my cat to put it down. He did. Turns out the squirrel was still alive and run. I had to spend the next three hours chasing it out of my house. FML

you dont sound like a very responsible pet owner. why would the bird not be in a cage, especially when you're brining a new cat into the home. and I've watched my cats hunt...it takes awhile to catch and kill something. obviously you were not paying attention.
