You shouldn't feel too bad, OP. I been guilty of saying 'I love you' back just to be nice, the truth is you should be glad she didn't lie and was honest to you. Love is different for different people, no one should be pressured into it.

Your rant is unwanted here. We know you're right, but only just. The FML gives the impression that it was written by a fourteen year old who is obviously not in the sort of relationship his girlfriend thinks they're in. It doesn't matter how long they've known each other and spent time together if the girlfriend responds in that way. So, please, calm down.
