Today, I dropped my phone in water, and my friends told me to put it in rice to draw out the water. They put my phone in riceroni. My phone now smells like chicken and has rice seasoning stuck all over it. Needless to say it still doesn't work. FML

Hey. You got one of the new Ismell's. :-P Anyway, it's dry rice you have to use dumbass. And you have to leave it in there for a day or 2. Either that or A. be more careful or B. Get some phone insurance if it's something expensive.

YDI, you should have put it on top of a tv or hard drive, the heat they give off when turned on can dry it up.

Aren't the rice and seasoning separated in the box? You do know that you're not supposed to cook the rice first, don't you?

duh! dumbass u wrap it in paper towels and stick it in PLAIN rice. so u get nothing on it and it dries. and u have to let it sit for awhile

you're supposed to put it in a plastic baggie of un cooked rice. it worked for me

Bury it in uncooked rice in a jar or baggy... it'll take at least 24 hours... you can also put it in beans but rice is usually better.

that's cuz you put it in Americanized Rice. You're supposed to put it in real rice :3 haha
