Today, the bus came to pick up my daughter to take her to kindergarten. When it honked, I opened the door for her to let her run out to it. Halfway there, she tripped and started crying. I couldn't run out because I was still in my underwear. Now her bus thinks I'm the worst mom ever. FML

Today, I had to catch a shuttle bus. I awoke to the sound of a car horn. I ran out in my boxers and saw a bus take off down the road. I chased it, thinking I had missed my bus. I realized I hadn't only when I saw frightened kids in the back of the bus. FML

Today, after having bought my daughter a complete set of new school clothes, she threw a tantrum and refused to wear them. I told her she could either wear them, or go to school naked. She made if half-way down the street in the nude before I caught up and dragged her back inside. FML

Today, I took the bus. The old lady next to me almost fell when the driver stopped, but I managed to catch her. Five minutes later, the same thing happened to me. The old lady tried to help me, but I lost my balance and pulled her skirt down. FML

Today, I missed my bus by a minute. I called up my step-dad asking him if he could drive me because I had a test first period. After about calling him twenty times, and him not picking up, I saw him drive by the bus stop, pointing at me and laughing hysterically. FML

Today, I was walking towards the bus. The bus was scheduled to leave at 3:20, and it was 3:19 so I decided to run for it. As the doors were closing, I managed to just slip my hand into the door, so it didn't fully close. The bus driver saw this, looked at my face, and then drove away. FML

Today, while picking my daughter up from school, I saw her being beaten by two boys while the teacher stood there doing nothing. I ran to help, but then she pushed one of the boys off her. The teacher then pulled her away, yelled at her and then yelled at me for "not raising my kid right." FML

I would much rather fall on my ass then for all my friends on the bus see my mum practically naked. plus just because children see their own parents naked doesn't make it appropriate for kids to see others only in their underwear :/

plus if she had fallen and done serious damage I doubt the mum would care that she's just in her underwear it simply says she tripped and begun crying, that happens like twice a day to my clumsy little sister

Or you can stand out there waiting for the bus with your kid, since you know exactly when it'll be there, like most people do, instead of making everyone wait for your kid and forcing your kid to run every morning while everyone waits for her. YDI. And who the hell just wears underwear while getting their kid ready for school?

Wait, your kid is in kindergarten and you just make them get the bus!? you don't drive them or go along with them to school? wtf? We have school buses designed to take children to school in the USA... it's not just a public bus that everyone can take... and the bus driver has about all the authority of a school teacher so it's perfectly fine for children to be taking the bus

Yeah I live in chickasha oklahoma. Her school is way way out in the boondocks. If I'm gonna get to work on time to support my daughter then I just don't have the time to drive her everyday. Plus it's a special kindergarten bus, so she's perfectly safe.
