The irony stings

Today, I was driving home, it was 80 degrees out. Making a rare attempt to be eco-friendly, I turned off the A/C and lowered the windows. A bee then flew in through the window, hit my cheek, and stung me. That's what I get for attempting to be eco-friendly. FML

Today, my friend and I were out looking for nectar, when a gigantic beast rumbles by and sucks my friend into its gaping jaws. He hits some flesh inside the mouth, and sacrifices himself for the hive by stinging the horrid beast. FML

Ironically, at that speed, it's better for the environment to roll up your windows and use the AC. Opening the windows creates enough drag to worsen the MPG.

Three things: 1. It has been proven that there is no environmental advantage to having your windows open verses running your AC. They are about equally environmentally friendly/ detrimental. It makes little difference in the long run whether you roll down the windows or turn up the air conditioning. 2. Why is everyone getting down on environmentalists? It's not hard to be "eco-friendly." Turn off the lights when you aren't using them, recycle, and don't leave the water on when you aren't using it. None of these things are hard AND they can save you money! :) 3. I am sorry you got stung by a bee, that really does suck.

**** bees! Mother nature is a bitch! Crank the AC

#55 - you read my mind. some of you need to chill out. it's FML, stop taking things so seriously.

Everything has a price. If we want to truly live in harmony with the rest of nature around us, we need to accept the fact that our lives won't be quite as comfortable and cozy as they would be if we continue the strain of living through environmentally destructive means.

People should be beaten for promoting that "green" nonsense. You got what you deserved.

Your house/car is just as much nature as a bird's nest.

down with environmental conservation! up with death!

#4 is the only one who has commented this with any truth or bit of sense If you want to be "eco-friendly" or save a tablespoons worth of gas, drive with the windows up with no AC. don't accelerate faster than 2 mph per second, and turn your car off periodically to coast down hills. basically be a "hypermiler" look it up, and STFU

lol only 80 degrees, try driving in 100 degrees no AC and a smoke from a wildfire covering the sky, so opening windows isnt an option either. sorry just 80 is nothing even though bees suck
