Tattoos are for life

Today, my husband cried more at the funeral of his tattoo artist than he did at his grandmother's funeral. Seriously, at the artist's funeral, he was crying; at his grandmother's, he kept checking the time on his phone and yawning. What man did I marry? FML

I guess it just depends what kind of relationship he had with either of them

Maybe he just wasn’t as close with his grandmother and didn’t share as many happy memories as he did with his tattoo artist?

Maybe he wasn’t as close with his grandmother as he was with his tattoo artist since they may have shared more happy memories together?

The answer is simple: Granny probably gave shitty tattoos. Wouldn't be surprised if she tatted him with NO REGERTS or CHI-TONW.

My guess - the kind of man who was having an affair (emotionally, even if not physically) with his tattoo artist...

It's so telling of you as a person that you would jump here immediately rather than the more likely option; he was close friends with his tattoo artist. Losing close friends hurts.

I hope you're able to move past this.
