Today, my boyfriend met my mom and started acting strange. Then my dad came in and was instantly furious. Apparently, my boyfriend is the guy my mom cheated with that caused my parent's divorce. He’s 3 years younger than I am. Gross mom, just gross. Also I’m single again, damn it. FML

Why are your parents getting together after getting divorced? And did you tell your boyfriend your last name? He didn't think it was coincidental that your name was the same as the couple's whose marriage he ruined?

See, I would have carried on dating, knowing that every family meal, function, day out, important events etc would have been awkward as anything, however dating someone who you know has been involved with your parents is… ikky, so can’t blame you for ending it. Funny though
