Today, my wife asked me to come upstairs, all sexy like. I was sceptical, but I went upstairs after her. When I got there, she handed me a drill and told me to finally get on with building the flat pack dressing table. This is the reason I am sceptical. Romance is a lie kids, never get married. FML

Maybe do some of the chores around the house that she’s asked you to do the FIRST time she asks instead of putting them off for so long that she feels the need to trick you? Hmmm?

YDI. If you’re anything like my son, you procrastinate hours to days after something was said. Get a monthly whiteboard and have her put down what day she expects you to get the chore done and *= most important **=second most important, etc. Don’t wait until the last second to do something either. As for telling people don’t get married. That’s not fair to the people who are actually in an equal partnership.

Even that’s more labor than someone should have to do. If two people are living in the same house they should both know what needs to be done. One of them shouldn’t have to supervise the other.

Do some of the things she asks you to do and help with chores and maybe you would get some. If she's exhausted from doing everything herself, she's not gonna have energy or desire for sex. I worked 70 hour weeks living alone and had a flat pack built in 2 days. and I'm a woman. there's no excuse why you dicked around so long she had to trick you
