Today, I woke up to my mother telling me to sit up and get dressed because we had to go before it was too late. I had just woken up from surgery. She didn't want to be stuck in traffic. FML

I know traffic sucks in NY but they could use the carpool lane once they got on the freeway, right? Traffic wouldn't be THAT bad then and overall it wasn't worth rushing her kid who was just coming out of surgery...
