Gold digger

Today, my 6 year-old granddaughter was sitting on my lap, playing with the rings on my fingers. After a moment, she pointed to a gold ring with many jewels and said, "When you die, can I have that one?" FML

sometimes say things like that to my mom but i'm old enough that she knows i'm not entirely serious.. you should give it to her when you die and it'll mean the world to her and she'll remember how she wanted it since she was a little girl

Hahaha that is just too funny. Don't take it too hard, little girls love shiny sparkly things.

Oh snap! She probably doesn't understand death yet and didn't fully mean what she said. Still that's rude.

oh...uhh....i didn't know that was offensive....i always ask my parents that question....if they die can i have that....now i feel bad =[

BS, grandmothers don't use fml.

I find it hard to believe that a grandmother has a username like "itswhateverr". Still, this one made me laugh my ass off. FYL.

so? i would do that and i'm 17 and yeah #56

When I was little, I told my grandfather that I wanted one of his recipes when he died. Don't take it personally, little kids do that kind of stuff all the time. :D

Young children are hypercritical; think nothing of it. And like someone else said, little girls are attracted to shiny or sparkly things. So yeah...

Aww, don't worry about that. Children have short attention spans - I used to think the same thing when I saw my grandmother's pretty jewelry. I focused more on having them, not her being dead. So no worries!
