Gold digger

Today, my 6 year-old granddaughter was sitting on my lap, playing with the rings on my fingers. After a moment, she pointed to a gold ring with many jewels and said, "When you die, can I have that one?" FML

sometimes say things like that to my mom but i'm old enough that she knows i'm not entirely serious.. you should give it to her when you die and it'll mean the world to her and she'll remember how she wanted it since she was a little girl

Hahaha that is just too funny. Don't take it too hard, little girls love shiny sparkly things.

maybe the person who posted this is a young grandma, maybe like, 50 years old? that makes sense.

I didn't know that grandmothers even used fmylife

Just because she's a grandma doesn't have to mean she's old, it depends how old she was when she had her child and how old they were when they had theirs. If she had been 20 when she had her child and her son/daughter had also been 20 she'd only be 46 now.

wow, i kinda disagree with all of you. id be pretty bummed if someone said that to me

Hahaha- I did the exact same when I was a kid- it doesn't mean she wants you to die- it just means she really likes your ring!

I've said that to my grandma when I was around that age D: I didn't mean anything bad by it! I'm sure she didn't either! :)

Lol dont take it hard shes just a little girl

I said similar things to my grandma. My cousin and i would argue about who was going to get the angel collection! And this is just a possibility but maybe the grandma's username is that because she created it for this one FML and she was saying that its no big deal i'm pretty sure she understands that the little girl didnt mean it harshly and just wanted the ring

Oh, whatever. I've said things like that to my mom, and i'm 19.
