Gold digger

Today, my 6 year-old granddaughter was sitting on my lap, playing with the rings on my fingers. After a moment, she pointed to a gold ring with many jewels and said, "When you die, can I have that one?" FML

sometimes say things like that to my mom but i'm old enough that she knows i'm not entirely serious.. you should give it to her when you die and it'll mean the world to her and she'll remember how she wanted it since she was a little girl

Hahaha that is just too funny. Don't take it too hard, little girls love shiny sparkly things.

My aunt went to our relatives' house one time and was going through their drawers looking at their jewelry and picking out what she liked and saying "Maybe they can will this to me." It really pissed me off. But at least in your case it was a six year old, so it isn't so bad. >_>

at least you're a pretty cool grandma for being on FML.

uh, hey, grandma, maybe you should accept that you're getting ******* old and are going to die soon and just give the kid the ******* ring. anyway, who taught you how to use a computer?

Wow, you're either a rockin' grandmother who's not only figured out the internet, but also picked up some youthful terminology to have picked a username like that, or else this is completely fake. Either way, who cares what a little kid says? They don't really know any better! My grandparents used to ask my brother and I quite frankly which of us wanted which of their things when the time came. Big deal.
