Gold digger

Today, my 6 year-old granddaughter was sitting on my lap, playing with the rings on my fingers. After a moment, she pointed to a gold ring with many jewels and said, "When you die, can I have that one?" FML

sometimes say things like that to my mom but i'm old enough that she knows i'm not entirely serious.. you should give it to her when you die and it'll mean the world to her and she'll remember how she wanted it since she was a little girl

Hahaha that is just too funny. Don't take it too hard, little girls love shiny sparkly things.

my sister did that to our grandmother when we were kids... only about a very nice doll... all of the granddaughters wanted it, but my sister was the only one with the audacity to ask for it... and my grandma was so taken aback, she said yes...

I didn't know there was an age limit to use the internet, #32.

She didn't mean she wanted you to die, or even that she expected you to die soon. In her mind, it was a completely innocent thing to say, as in "when you're dead it'll be sad BUT you won't have any use for it anymore, and i'd really like it". She didn't mean it as "you stupid old hag, kick the can already, I want your jewelry mahh". So chill out

Is this the same 6 year old who told his/her mom it's okay for her to die a couple of FMLs back?

THIS IS SO FUNNY!! Why? Because my little sister said something like this to my grandmother. She says, "When you die, can I have your cat?" And my grandmother's like, "Well, that might not be for a while." And my sister replies, "Oh, it'll probably be sometime when I'm in college." Funny as hell! Thankfully, my grandmother found it amusing, too. :D

i have a hard time believing a grandmother would post this on this site after that happened. i doubt any grandmothers go on this site at all actaully. FAKE!!

This is probably fake. When do you see a grandma on a working computer.. let alone the internet... let alone how to post something
