Free TV

Today, I discovered that when you suddenly get channels that you didn't have before, it doesn't mean there was a glitch and you're getting free TV, it just means that your son called the cable company and had your plan changed so you get every conceivable channel at a hugely increased price. FML

If the account isn't in his name he can't request the extra channels surely.

If your kid can call the company and they will allow such a change then you need to consider two things: 1. Make sure your account security is more secure for the future (ie. some companies ask for a pin or password, create a (new/better) one) or 2. Switch companies.

Isn't that a law suit waiting to happen? After all, if the cable is under your name it needs your approval. That company just lost some good cash there.
