Today, I finally went to the DMV to replace my lost license. After waiting for almost two hours, I casually rummaged through my purse. Something strange inside the lining caught my eye. It was my license. FML

Even though I'm not suppose to, I have an extra copy of my driver's license. I keep it in my car's glove box incase I forget my purse at home. It's come in handy.

I have had something similar happen to me, as well. It's so frustrating! I was using an old purse with a tear in it, and my license managed to end up inside the lining. I didn't realize it until a few weeks after I had already purchased a new license. Purses are indeed black holes. I wonder if all the items that get lost inside purses end up in the same place socks do when the dryer eats them? ;)

OP did say it was in the lining. She probably looked in her purse but didn't think to check the lining. And at least u didnt actually get your license, although having two might be good for ya
