Today, after a month of planning, I started to tease my boyfriend of 3 years about the wonderful anniversary plans I had made for us. It was a secret, so I let him try and guess. He said, "As long as it's not a spa day. That would suck, I'd never go." It's a spa day. That I've already paid for. FML

Take your best friend and get him something else and just don't tell him about your original idea. It's not that big of a deal. P.S. You'd think after 3 years you'd know if he liked spa days or not.

why would you get your BOYfriend and yourself a spa day gift? You should have known better than to get anything to do with a spa for your boyfriend. also, is it something you really thought he would enjoy? or did you actually want it for yourself and found this as a reason to go to a spa?

im really shocked by people. i know lots of guys that like massages and spas (and they're not gay, but i salute you all for stereotyping quite well). No, he probably wouldn't do that w/ his friends, but it's something for them to enjoy as a couple and to relax together. we're all so busy and stressed all the time all she was doing was trying to relax and spend some time together. i think she picked something good to do for a couple and those saying she should've known he didn't like spas...how? they've obviously never been. In fact, I've never been and i have no idea if the person im dating likes them either. but like the others said, take a gf and find something else to do
