Today, I met up with my dad for the first time in 7 years. We planned to go to a nice restaurant but he changed the place we were going to, to Chuck E. Cheese. I'm 18 years old. I waited an hour for him to show up. I then ended up babysitting his daughter the whole time. FML

Today, I was supposed to be going on my first date with a guy I really liked. He never showed up. I just found out my dad was outside washing the car when my date showed up. He told him he didn't have a daughter and to never show up on his driveway again. FML

I really can't think of anything more romantic than soggy pizza and a man in a sweaty mouse costume. the hyper kids and vomit hidden in the strangest places in the play place is just a plus.

I don't understand how this is an FML. He was upfront about his kid. And really his honesty is what strikes me as romantic, and not the place you guys went to. Something tells me you might just have some unrealistic fantasy of what romance "should be."

If you really liked him you should have known he had a kid. ~o~ Or found out somehow. At least he was being upfront about it instead of hiding it. And he took you and his child to Chuck E. Cheese? Awesome. Chuck E. Cheese kicks butt, plus, total awesome parent win of his. If you're gonna not like him just casue he has a child, then **** you =/
