Today, I got a text from my ex-boyfriend that said, "I love you." Thinking this meant he'd changed his mind about breaking up with me less than 24 hours before, I replied back excitedly. Turns out that was a text sent last weekend that didn't go through until now. What great timing. FML

Today, I woke up to a broken car window and a text from my ex that read, "Before you ask me, the answer is yes." FML
Today, my boyfriend dumped me by getting his mum to message me on Facebook. I got the message while I was packing for an overseas trip to visit him. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 2 years told me he had feelings for someone else. He also told me he wanted to continue dating me until things progressed further with the other woman. FML
Today, I poured my heart out to my girlfriend of two years expressing my feelings for her. She responded with, "I'm going to bed." FML
Today, I was at my boyfriend's house waiting to surprise him when he got home from work. I was laying in his bed when he called to tell me we were over. I couldn't leave before he got home. FML
Today, the girl I have a crush on texted me to go out tonight. When I got to her house, she peered at me quizzically and asked, "What do you want? Did I text you?" FML
Today, thirty minutes after the end of a great date with a great girl, she texted me, "Yeah, uh, never come near me again." FML
Today, my ex of 5 years got engaged after 5 months of us "taking a break." FML

It's also possible to love someone, but not be in love with them. Sometimes people just aren't right for each other. It doesn't mean that they don't love each other or care about one another.

Sometimes text messages get stuck in the servers and don't get sent through. The other week I received a text from my dad that he sent to me on my birthday 3 months before, but it didn't come through. It doesn't always say if it hasn't sent or been received.

Nope, he showed me the text on his phone it was sent 3 months prior. It wasn't a happy birthday message it was about the restaurant I wanted to go to. He was flying home from Portugal that day too :p
