Today, my dad got into an argument with the cashier about how overpriced the scented tampons were. FML
Today, my roommate got mad at me for putting away the tampons that were sitting on her desk. She rebelled by hanging hundreds of tampons dyed red from every surface in our dorm room. I discovered this while giving my mom her first tour of the place. FML
Today, as he was going out, I asked my father if he stop by the store and buy some tampons for me and toilet paper for the house, because we have been out for the last 5 days. He came home with a 30-pack of beer and cigarettes instead. I just started my time of the month and we have no more money. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I took a late night drive, and after a while he stopped at a gas station and asked if I wanted anything. I replied, "Guess." He came out and gave me a box of tampons. Apparently, I've been bitchy. FML
Today, I bought a box of tampons and went to the store restroom to insert one. I then put the box inside my purse. On my way out, I got stopped by security, who yelled at me to empty my purse. He grabbed my bag, spilling the tampons everywhere. Apparently, he thought I was stealing. FML
Today, my son took some of my underwear to school. What's worse is he sold it to his classmate for $10. FML
Today, I was at the supermarket checkout. I handed over my items, which included some tampons, tissues, and toilet roll. The security guard standing beside the cashier remarked loudly, "I'll be damned; she's flowing from every hole!" FML
Today, I asked my dad to take me to the store so I could get some feminine hygiene products. When we got there, he went running down the aisles yelling, "Help! My daughter's bleeding to death! Where're the tampons?!" FML
Today, I had to admit that I'm an alcoholic when I spent my last dollar bills on Southern Comfort instead of tampons. FML
Today, my roommate decided to splash out on a prostitute. When my expensive watch and the contents of my wallet turned up missing in the aftermath, his only comment was, "Shit happens, bro." FML

Absolutely! It's basic courtesy. You should be able to offer a guest toilet paper, tissues, something to drink, as well as tampons, if necessary. It makes you a good host.

Size really depends more on the person's "flow"- as in how much dead tissue and shedder blood exits their body. So, yes, in most cases a medium will suffice, someone with a heavier period will just have to change more often. For the record, some people also prefer to keep ziplock bags in the box, to put dirty tampons in, to prevent animals from digging them out and smell from becoming an issue.

I read an amazing email where a Marine mom sent a female care package. A male accidentally got it. He took it on a jeep, where a Marine got shot. The tampon saved his life! That mom sends male and female Marines tampons now. ? Everyone should have them in their first-aid kit!

Is he single? If he is seeing someone, it's quite thoughtful that he wants to make sure his girlfriend would be prepared for anything. Otherwise, if he goes camping, I've heard that tampons are quite versatile for any unexpected situations outdoors.
