Today, my phone autocorrected "with chills" to "with child" in the middle of a message, and I didn't notice until I was contacted several hours later by a panicking friend. My gastric flu is now rumoured to have been morning sickness, all because I can't proofread. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
How's it going?
Today, I was texting my mom about a surprise visit, and autocorrect changed "surprise" to "surgery." I hit send before noticing, and now she thinks I’m planning some major medical procedure, and has been calling me nonstop to check if I’m OK. FML
Today, I had food poisoning and woke up early in the morning to vomit. My mom emailed all of my teachers saying that I would be late to school because of "morning sickness". Thanks mom. FML
The miracle of barf
Today, what I thought was food poisoning is actually a baby. FML
It's catching
Today, I was feeling really sick at work. I messaged my boss whether his girlfriend, who also works there, could cover me. He then came down, shouting at me that whatever illness I have, I've also passed on to his girlfriend. I'm pregnant. FML
Today, I witnessed a hit-and-run. I used my phone to write down the license plate for the police. However, I didn't notice that my phone had autocorrected the number. FML
LOL
Today, I texted my friend and asked her what her sad status on Facebook was about. She texted me back, saying her step-mother had passed away. I tried to reply with "awwh" but my phone autocorrected it to "ahaha." FML
Today, my morning sickness was so bad that I threw up everywhere, just from thinking about the pretend meal that a kid had made for me. FML
Today, my good friend who just had a baby girl sent her newborn's pictures to me via picture message. To reply, instead of writing "Awwwwww" I wrote "Ewwwwww" by mistake. FML
Send message
Today, while messaging a possible new hire to set up an interview at my retail job, I meant to say, "Thank you for being flexible" - in regards to scheduling. Instead, it autocorrected to, "Thank you for being delicious." FML
Just ignore it!
Today, trying to be nice, I sent a text to my mother-in-law saying that I couldn't wait to have her delicious casserole tonight. Only after sending, I realized that "casserole" had auto corrected to "asshole". FML

Autocorrect is like a parking spot on the street. It's not exactly there when you need it, but it's there too much when you don't. Then again, there may not be enough parking spots where I live...

I get so sick of autocorrect sometimes but then I try turning it off and realize the pros outweigh the cons of it every time. Ain't nobody got time for typing every single letter out correctly on this tiny keyboard

Well, I do and I admit that at the beginning it's terrible but you get used to live without it

I just want slide-out qwerty keyboards back. That was the superior typing method.

my phone has slide out keyboard and no auto correct :D

Clearly, 'ain't' nobody got time for grammar neither. But more than enough for double negatives.

My autocorrect likes to put me in awkward situations as well! I once sent my friend's mom a message saying 'I need six' however, autocorrect changed it to ' I need sex'... I explained the mistake to her and apologised profusely when I saw her. Luckily she understood and laughed it off. I'm sorry, OP!

This one time I was texting my mom about going to a bar and I thought I had said "no, I'm having a chill moment" but I was using that swype thing on my phone and I accidentally said "no, I'm having a child mommy." she flipped her shit

I guess you've gotten to know this illness in a family way. I mean familiar way...
