Today, my husband just told me that he no longer loves me but keeps me around to handle his finances. FML
Today, my husband suggested we get divorced, "for tax purposes". FML
Today, my husband of 30 years told me that he thought we should 'just be friends'. FML
Today, my husband got paid. I checked our bank account and was shocked to see we'd only received $300. I called him, insisting that there was some mistake. He said he'd started a new bank account in his name so he could manage our money on his own, and the $300 was my "allowance". I now want a divorce. FML
Today, my wife said she wants a divorce. Three days ago, I added her onto the title to my house, my bank accounts, and my business. FML
Today, I told my husband I wanted a divorce. He told me he didn't. End of discussion. FML
Today, my husband said he wouldn't be talking to me for weeks, because I didn't buy him weed. Yeah, I paid all the bills and the rent this month. FML
Today, my husband of 12 years announced that he wants a divorce and that he hadn't liked me in YEARS. FML
Today, I found out my husband of one year has been renting his old batchelor's apartment in secret, because he is unsure if he wants to stay married to me, and we are broke. FML
Today, my husband finally admitted that he squandered the last three months of my share of the rent on booze. He then blamed me, demanded more money, asked for a divorce, and stormed out. When he returned he asked, "How am I the bad guy?" FML

As someone who got a joint bank account at my wife's urging soon after we were married, I understand his concern. That was the second dumbest thing I've ever done. However, saying he doesn't want to be married anymore is excessive; he should have just said "no". Then again, if you continued to pressure him *after* he said no, then YDI.

I have a joint account with my fiancé where all of our bills and our mortgage come out of. We have our own money and a joint account. Makes sense to me

my fiancee and I have our seperate accounts and a joint account together we use to pay all our bills and save up for a house. I don't think its a bad idea to have one you can both put money in when you want and to save up for things for.
